About us
The Laboratory of Ultra-High Pressure Research was established in Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy (Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk, Russia) with support of Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
Prof. Eiji Ohtani known for his extensive research in the field was invited to head the new laboratory. A number of researchers including senior scientists, postgraduates and students have joined the UHPLab to investigate geologic phenomena related to ultra-high pressures.
